Spaghetti with bolognese sauce and vegetables

In this article I share with you a delicious recipe for spaghetti with bolognese sauce and vegetables, a fairly traditional dish, very simple, nutritious and with few calories.

Ingredients

  • 300 g spaghetti
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 3 medium carrots (about 250 g)
  • 1 stick of celery (approx. 80 g)
  • 1 cebolla
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 can of 400 g of crushed tomato
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 50 ml of Porto Rubí wine
  • 1 beef broth tablet
  • 100-200 ml of water

Spaghetti with bolognese sauce and vegetables

Preparation

  1. Julienne the onion.
  2. Peel and slice the garlic cloves.
  3. Clean and slice the celery.
  4. Cut the carrots into small cubes.
  5. In a frying pan heat 3 tablespoons of the olive oil.
  6. When hot, add the ground beef and sauté until golden brown, stirring regularly to ensure it doesn't burn.
  7. Once the meat has browned, remove from the pan and set aside.
  8. Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a saucepan and sauté the onion over low heat, stirring regularly.
  9. When the onion is transparent add the garlic and continue stirring for two minutes, until golden brown.
  10. Add the carrots and celery and sauté for 5 more minutes, stirring regularly.
  11. Add the meat that you had reserved, the can of crushed tomatoes, the tomato puree, the oregano, the port wine and the meat stock cube.
  12. Add water until all ingredients are completely covered.
  13. Bring to a simmer for 25 minutes, until the liquid has reduced.
  14. Rectify the salt and reserve until serving time.
  15. While the Bolognese sauce is simmering, bring a saucepan of water and salt to a boil.
  16. When it starts to boil add the spaghetti and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  17. Drain the pasta.
  18. It is ready to serve, now you will only have to decide if you do it in individual plates or serve it in dishes so that each one is served to your liking.
